The approach then becomes to address the symptoms rather than the causes, underlying issues and deeper meaning.This creates a culture of people who end up somewhere between suffering, pushing it away, avoiding it completely or focusing on the superficial ways to “fix” it that only provide bandaid, short term solutions.
