This series was inspired by a reoccurring experience with my roommate this past winter. Each time we had flurries she thought it was snowing. I had to explain over and over that it was just flurries and not really snow. It is easy to take for granted our use of language and everyday experiences and assume others from different climates understand. I used Inuit words for snow as titles for the pieces, to show how landscapes affect both our experiences and use of language.
